Map Details for City of Blazing Stars - set in Iran
This map is one of the most detailed hand-drawn maps created and portrays the central area of a large city showing the streets, rail lines and buildings. Drawing this map required extensive research into several Iranian cities and their different neighborhoods/sections. The changes in design and layouts pre-and post-revolution were interesting to study and incorporate. One of the more challenging aspects was learning to write the Arabic script labels in Farsi.
