Map Details for Maupeo and Angosta – set in Chile
This is part of a map showing the very rugged and rural nature of south-central Chile and the challenges to civilizations and the connections between settlements. The inspiration for this map was seeing images of central Chile and how the coastline and waterways were a significant aspect to the area. I wanted to draw step cliffs and hills and then find suitable locations for small settlements and possible connecting roads and ferries.
